Day 13, Tuesday May 24th, 2016

Today, we had a quick breakfast on the street and then set out for Casa Batllo.

This is a Gaudi-designed house in central Barcelona. We wanted to get there early to avoid the line-ups to get in. Success!

Very cool place. This is one of the light wells into the central portion of the house.

From the outside.

We then headed down to the Mercat on the Ramblas. Fantastic food here! We had an eggplant and paella lunch.

And Kimberley found eggs!

On the roundabout way back, Kimberley shopped around for a bit, while I read my Pegasus Bridge book on the patio at our hotel room. We met for lunch at Divinus, and then during the afternoon, walked over to the Sangrada Familia. What a structure! But there was no way we were getting in...the crowds were too much.

We went back to Divinus for dinner.

Fantastic paella! Really great dinner here...best of the trip so far.
