Left the Hotel Catalonia first thing and picked up the rental car two blocks down the street. This was a VW, and turned out to be a very good car.
We were making our way to Pratdip in the countryside, but stopped in Reus for a few hours to shop and look around. I treated Kimberley to the best lunch ever.
We got lost on the way to Mas Mariassa, our new B&B, and wound up scraping up the front of the rental car in the narrow streets of Pratdip. Oh well!
Eventually, we found Mas Mariassa, and it turned out to be fantastic.
Beautiful place.
And the Spanish countryside was spectacular.
We made friends with the B&B's dogs, who we called Blondie and Fluffy.
A couple of friendly hams.
After we unloaded our bags, we drove into a town that sounded like Infant Hospital (but turned out to mean Inn of the Prince) and picked up water, wine, snacks and a faulty corkscrew.
During the afternoon, we drank a bottle of rose, then went down for 9:00 PM dinner, had a full bottle of Priorat red, and went to sleep...late.
